Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space 1.1.1
Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is a grand space opera that will take you from a down and out starship captain to an amazing intergalactic hero whose renown travels light speed ahead of you! Set in a randomly generated universe of endless possibilities, this single-player experience will let you explore new worlds, meet exotic aliens, discover black holes, witness the deaths of stars, encounter drifting space hulks that promise untold riches or untimely death, and much, much more! And all this happens in under thirty minutes or less!
The DEMO is a fully playable 10 year "pirate mission" with the pirate corvette and the small starmap.
The full version of Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space adds: 5 more alien races, 14 more starship types, science and military missions, medium and large starmaps with more stars to explore, user-made mod support, more special events AND a robust battle simulator that is like a game in and of itself!

Sequel to my all time favorite game, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space (Check it out!). Weird Worlds is everything it was... and MORE! It's like solitaire for people who like sci-fi space exploration and combat. Don't let the system requirements turn you away. It runs on my old 600MHz iMac G3 with 16MB video RAM. |

Everything it promises to be. Good for a quick game, yet immersive enough to keep you coming back. This is one for those who like the EV vibe, but don't have the time for super deep campaigns and big learning curves. Graphics are killer, and moddability is a big plus. Keep up the good work.
btw: Worked nicely on my iMac G4, 512MB RAM, Tiger OS |

I'd like to think that I'd like this game, but its complete failure to actually run on my system (PM G5) is proving to be a significant hinderance. A window sorta starts to pop up on launch, but before it completely materializes, it fades away, leaving the program icon sitting idle on the Dock and a menu that is worse than useless. |
