Betrayal at Krondor 1.0
Betrayal at Krondor is a classic DOS adventure game from Dynamix software. It was released as freeware many years ago, and is here packaged to run transparently as a Mac OS X application via a built-in DOS emulator.

| This version had a "bug": in autoexec.bat a File is tried to be mounted which isnot there. Easiest way is to move the file to the right name:
$ mv $Betrayal\ At\ Krondor.app/Contents/Resources/krondo $Betrayal\ At\ Krondor.app/Contents/Resources/krondor
I donot like the game, anyhow, because I wanted some simple fun. This game however seems to need some time and you have to read a lot- Its slow on g4 1.2 Ghz but playable. Graphics are, well -"old" ;) (320*240 ?!) |
