Cosmo Bots 1.01a

Cosmo Bots takes its cue from the addictive classics Jezzball and Qix. However, that's where the similarity ends, because Cosmo Bots has different shapes for each level, 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, new enemies, and tons of power-ups

Incredibly fun game. It's now called 'Cosmic Bugs'. You cannot buy it from Retro 64 anymore. I've bought it sadly, twice. I'm very dissapointed with Digital River/Retro 64 - As they had a page to buy 'Cosmo Bots' for MAC - It was not for Mac it was an Windows executable version! I stooped and finally found the Mac version at ArcadeTown.com for yet another twenty bucks. I hope Rerto 64 issues me a refund because that's false advertisement and fraud! Thieves! Anyway, some words of caution: Beware and shop wiser than I did. You will save a pocket of cash and be happy. Cosmic Bugs is a fun game with cool dance style music. It's carbonized game that may not play well on intel Macs, but it plays well on my G4 OS X and G3 with OS 9.2.2. You'll probably never finish the game as there's no way to save games, plus, there's over 500 levels!!!! Eternally doomed to restart after each restart of the game. But, you can progress after each game is lost and restart on the same level set at it's beginning. You lose the music after so many levels on the demo. Fun, but you may want to try out something else that has better options to save your progress. Also, you need to burn the full version .dmg to a disc. The files are not in the game wrapper like the demo - (it's really cheesy to me) But at least you can play it on multiple Macs. So, I guess I kinda got my $'s worth in a bittersweet way. Sigh.
