Myst IV: Revelation 1.0.3
Revelation, the latest installment of the best-selling Myst video game series. In Myst IV: Revelation, the player is sent back to the story of the first game in which the brothers Sirrus and Achenar have been imprisoned inside two books. Atrus, their father, has begged for their release, but in the process, his daughter Yeesha has disappeared. Players must solve a series of intricate puzzles in order to find Yeesha as well as discover the secrets within the world of the game.

• Subtitles for English, Italian, German, French or Spanish are now available.

| My boyfriend and I both tried to play Myst IV. However, we found the hand control unwieldy. Also, the part at the beginning where you're trying to get the frequencies right, we both found difficult to do, tedious, and silly. After playing Myst I, II, and III, I was excited to play Myst IV. But after having so much trouble just starting out, this version is going to Goodwill. I'd rather play something that is more user-friendly. Better luck next time. How incredibly disappointing! |

| Yes the updater sucks. A problem arises if you move the game after installing it. Your home directory contains a file vpd.properties listing all the game components' locations. You need to have the game exactly where you installed it to run the updater. I was getting this error, because the installer isn't smart enough to create a folder for the game, it just dumps all its junk wherever you pointed it to, so I made a nice folder to make things neat. So now the updater is confused. I moved the game back out of my new folder and the updater was happy. Unfortunately, I then broke CD #2 and had to reorder the software. Oh, well. Anyhow |

| Same problem for me: "Unable to install Myst IV - Revelation: Patch is associated with a product that is not installed on target machine."
I even tried choosing the folder the game was in, as someone suggested, to no avail. |
