Conquest Marines v4989
Conquest Marines is a multiplayer total conversion for Unreal Tournament 2003. You will take part in the front line action of an intergalactic war, fighting against your brother marines at the sharp end of a struggle for control of the empire. The action is based primarily over large outdoor maps with a variety of weapons and vehicles for players to use. Team cooperation and strategy will be vital in order to win, as will using equipment and resources effectively.
There is no backstory. There was, but it was so bad that I deleted it then formatted my hard-drive just to make sure it was gone. If you know a good writer tell us - Until then, you'll have to use your imagination.
Key features of the mod include :
Players - Players can configure their marines to support their playing style. Choose from multiple player classes. The main purpose of classes is to promote proper teamplay - not just through being dependant on one another but by creating benifits for team-mates playing as a unit. Proper team play, not just team roles.
Gametypes - Conquest Marines supports a range of different multiplayer game types..
Weapons/Fighting dynamic - Players will have access to the usual suspects in their arsenal, plus a few new suprises. Fighting exchange will be a mix of tactical and dueling, with bullet and splash damage weapons.
Equipment - In addition to weapons, players will be able to choose various items of equipment and suit modifications.
Vehicles - Each team will have access to vehicular support. This will include both single and multiplayer vehicles.
Battlefield Support - Players on the battlefield will have comms access to their command centre. This can be used to request ammo and equipment drops, airstrikes, and tactical support.
Mac OS X Only
The mod requires a full version of Macintosh UT2003 (patched to the latest version) and the Epic Bonus pack installed.

| Uh, that Epic bonus pack that is required for this mod only comes as an EXE installer, which does not work on the Mac. So, therefore this mod doesn't really work on the Mac.... |
