The Sims Update August 2002
This updater will add a new application to the game folder for The Sims - this new application is called "The Sims Carbon", and provides compatibility with Mac OS X without having to run the Classic environment. This provides better game performance. This update only works for the US retail version of The Sims, and is only necessary for the older CD pressings (the newer CD installs the Carbon version automatically).
You do not need this update if you are playing with a later expansion installed on top of The Sims.
• Fixes an installation issue.

| yeah, it's just a bunch of weird letters and words in a textedit file. How come these things never work??? Does anybody know how to get this to work properly? |

| ahaha... help please.. how can I play this one? the only thing that shows when I finish downloading is the TextEdit file.. and it's name was "The_Sims_Carbon_install(US)-2.sit" how do I play this one... please do help me with this... this is my e-mail add.. jasminiris_24@yahoo.com.ph tnx a lot!!
