Heretic 0.9.3
eretic is a first-person shoot-em-up in the same style as Doom. In fact, it is the prequel to Hexen, which was released commercially for the Macintosh.
This version of Heretic is based on the publicly released code by Raven, and is equivalent to version 1.3 for DOS. It requires a PowerMac (any should do) and it's been tested on System 7.5.5, 7.6.1 and 8.5.1. Other versions should work fine, but the bare minimum is 7.1.2.
Be sure to also download the Shareware WAD file.

| this is excellent for classic ppl (upgrade to osx u wan...!) ;-)
But osx ppl should try out DOOMSday. ie, jHeretic 3D engine: http://www.doomsdayhq.com/files.php?class=1
v1.8.6 out atm and it works with Doom, Heretic, Hexen, etc.etc.. |
