Mac QB Pool Manager 3.2
If you have ever tried to organize the office pool, you know how much work it can be. Now, with Mac QB Pool Manager, it doesn't have to be work - it can actually be fun!
Mac QB Pool Manager (Mac QB) is designed for college and NFL football pools but can easily be used with any sport. Throughout, it is designed to make your life as manager of the pool as easy as possible.
User Friendly
• Mac QB is a complete program that will do everything for you from the beginning of the season to the end.
• Enter the players' picks. Picks submitted through your pool's Web site will be read by Mac QB into your pool for you.
• Mac QB takes over and lets you enjoy the games! Enter the scores and as you do, Mac QB will tell you if there's a winner yet, who can still win, and who has been eliminated.
• Mac QB prints a weekly players' Entry Form, a pre-game Master spread sheet with all the players picks, and a post game Master spread sheet, showing how each player did, who won, the payoff, etc.. It also tracks the player standings and player account records. Even provides for a manager's fee, if you like.
Web Aware
• Not only will Mac QB run your pool at work, it will also run it for you on the Internet. It is Web aware! With the click of the mouse, it will create complete Web pages for the weekly results, master sheet, standings, and an Entry Form that will allow your players to submit their picks from your Web site in a form that Mac QB can read directly into your pool.
Setup Options
• With the various options, you can set Mac QB to fit the unique characteristics of your pool, whether it is a weekly winners pool, parlay pool where the pool can roll over, or confidence pool where the players assign confidence points to each pick. Picks can be outright winners or winners against the spread and can include tiebreakers.
• It includes options to have 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd place winners and the amounts to be paid to each. It also provides for season winners if desired, with the option to divide the season into as many as 4 season periods plus an overall season winner. And it permits you to switch to another pool type or change the pool settings any time during the season.
• When you first run Mac QB, it will take you step by step through the basic settings so you can customized Mac QB to fit your pool. It only takes a couple of minutes and when you're through, your pool all setup and ready to go.
Late Start?
• You can start using Mac QB anytime during the season. If you've started your pool earlier and are moving from another application to Mac QB, The Mac Quarterback provides an easy way to update the players' records so the standings and season winners contest include the weeks prior to using Mac QB.
