Humongous Entertainment MacOS 9 Enabler 1.0
If your Macintosh is running on MacOS 9.x, and you see any of the following error messages in any Humongous Entertainment software product, you may need this special patch from Humongous Entertainment.
(Error Messages:)
"The application has unexpectedly quit, because an update to this software is required for compatibility with the improved Mac OS file system."
"You should save your work in other open applications and restart the computer."
"You should contact the developer of the software that quit to see if an update to ensure compatibility with Mac OS 9 is available."

Follow these instructions:
1.Download the Mac OS9 patch by clicking here.
2.Find the file "HE MacOS 9 Enabler". The icon will look like a puzzle piece with the Humongous Entertainment logo on it.
3.Double click on the icon for your main hard drive. Look for a folder called "System Folder."
4.Drag the "HE MacOS 9 Enabler" file into the System Folder.
5.A dialog box will appear which says "This item needs to be stored in the Extensions folder in order to be available to the computer. Put "He MacOS 9 Enabler" into the Extensions folder?" Click on the OK button.
6.Restart your computer. You MUST do this before the file will work.
7.Your Humongous Entertainment games will now play correctly.
