Firefall 2.1
Originally published in 1993, Firefall is being re-released as shareware by Pangea Software, creators of games like Bugdom and Nanosaur. Reminisant of the classic Centipede, Firefall is an arcade game featuring outstanding graphics, smooth controls, and can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Firefall has been updated to run on today's Macs and now features Draw Sprocket support for full-screen playing.
Deep within the nuclear ground Fireworms breed. They soak up minerals that are necessary for the survival of the human race. Your job is to rid the tunnels of these ferocious Fireworms. The Fireworms creep and crawl through the mineral field searching for humans to feed on. But they are blind, and, while they cannot see you, they will eat you if they run into you! As you blast your way through each tunnel you'll clear our mineral barriers. Occasionally, a mineral barrier will yield a vital ore that will activate special guns on your ship. The Fireworms have friends, so watch out for their allies.
This demo version will let you play a total of 45 minutes and only includes the first two levels of the game. Registering the game will give you access to all nine levels (with six waves per level) and remove the time restrictions.

| For a Centipede game, it isn't bad. The trouble is, it has stiff competition in the form of Apeiron from Ambrosia. Because of Apeiron, Firefall is only my second favourite Centipede game - and a distant second since Apeiron runs on Mac OS X, and Firefall doesn't. |

| most tomes my nscreen goes off color and i cant read anything,nor can i easily get out of the program.i would prefer this game on a disc. |
