You are Earth's last hope. Destroy the alien armada's Mega Mines, and you will save the ConFederation and nine billion lives. Slip up, and watch your home planet perish in flames. Suddenly, in a far-off quadrant of Earth ConFederation space, a vast fleet of mysterious alien warships is detected.
Origin: unknown.
Before any contact can be attempted, the alien armada attacks -- vaporizing an entire star system with deadly matter/antimatter powered Mega Mines. Without hesitating, the hostile armada then sets course for Earth.
The Earth ConFederation has only one chance to avoid certain annihilation in the face of this alien might: the experimental Ultraship, placed under your command. You are armed with solar plasma beams, cosmic energy weapons, energy seeking missiles and space decoy mines. Your ship is powered with the experimental Single Thrust PropulsionTM drive, enabling you to lock on course and simultaneously shoot in any direction.
You must desroy the ultimate threat to Planet Earth --the Mega Mines. You must hit the Mega Mines with a direct blast from your Ultraship to vaporize them. Failure means total destruction to the home planet.
