Zappy's Mod 1.12
Zappy's MOD is rocket or railgun's instagib with a twist. Playing the rocket instagib, using the railgun will teleport your target. And, playing railgun instagib, using the rocket launcher will also teleport target. This is just the beginning though.
All rockets are "smart" rockets. Once fired, they will scan directly in front for targets. Once a target is aquired, the rocket will turn to keep on target. Splash damage has been removed. So with rockets instagib, you need to make a direct hit to score points. Rockets are also suseptable to damage and can be destroyed with another rocket, rail slug, or grenade. The target client will have his rocket lock icon and rocket warning sound go off to warn of this threat. The attacker can also tell if a rocket is locked on target.
Each player is equipped with a shield generator. These shields last for 5 seconds. And once used, 120 second must pass before it can be reactivated. If you try to activate your shields before this time is up, you will receive a 10 point health penalty. Shields will protect you from direct hits by reducing the damage from instagib or grenades to 1/2 your health. Use them wisely.
Everyone also has an empty grenade launcher. This is in your inventory for a reason. Earn the EXCELLENT award and you will receive 5 magnetic grenades. These grenades are more powerful then regular grenades. They pack enough power to kill with a direct hit. Magnetic grenades DO have splash damage.
