Unreal Tournament Bonus Pack #3
The Inoxx Pack is a collection of six exciting new levels by Epic level designer Cedric Fiorentino, whose nickname is Inoxx. Fiorentino is famous for creating some of the most popular levels in both Unreal and Unreal Tournament. His credits include Terraniux and Extreme from Unreal, and Facing Worlds for Unreal Tournament. Facing Worlds is perhaps one of the most popular levels with fans, and the Inoxx Pack includes Facing Worlds 2, a sequel.
This pack includes six highly detailed, quality DM and CTF maps that you'll quickly start to love. They are:
• Facing Worlds 2 (CTF): The follow-up to the infamous Capture the Flag map that helped make Unreal Tournament a household name. Two flags. Two towers floating in space. Two teams. Too much mayhem!
• Crane (DM): A construction site is an insurance company's nightmare; it is filled to the brim with hazards. What a perfect place for deathmatch action! Players can camp out on top of enormous work cranes while sniping at the battles below, or hide behind piles of girders to ambush foes. The view is breathtaking, but try to avoid falling...
• High Towers (CTF): This baby takes place in the same city environment as Crane. The main difference is that each team base is located in a separate building. Like the other levels, it's huge!
• Nucleus (CTF): This map is a standard Capture the Flag level with two symmetric bases, except it looks beautiful and it's very disorienting.
• Kosov Valley (CTF): This is very big and designed for a large number of players. There are two bases: the blue base is a military outpost, the red base is an ancient temple. Players are forced to walk on a path on the edge of a big lake, or in a long underground cave.
• SpaceNoxx (DM): This is a hard-core arena. Be ready to fight in low gravity on this floating platform. It's made for a small number of players. But you can thin them out when you get there.
Think you want the pack? We suggest you update to UT 413 before trying to play Inoxx which addresses some bugs that may cause inoxx to crash.

| I play CTF almost exclusively, and this map pack was a treat. 3 of the 4 CTF maps in this add-on are simply great. Face2 is a fast-paced version of the classic; Nucleus and Kosov both provide logically planned maps with several routes between flags. High is a bit too big for my tastes and kind of plain. |

| An excellent and polished pack of maps, with some exceptions - bot support is poor on several maps, because they have rooms with only one elevator for an exit, and bots often get confused and have trouble getting off a lift. There is a room at the bottom of Nuclear that I always get trapped in by my own teammate bot. Otherwise, slick and attractive maps, and the price is right. |

| Although this a good map set, one thing still bugs me. Facing Worlds II. Its toting itself as being the great sequel to Facing Worlds yet it doesn't live up to the original at all. |
