Enemy Bomber Balloons 1.4
Enemy Bomber Balloons is a freeware shoot-'em-up in the classic style, with the refreshingly simple object being to blast those balloons before they get you with their bombs. Each time you get hit with a bomb, you lose an armor point. When your armor points drop to zero, you lose a life. And, as you might expect, when you're out of lives the game is over. New lives are won every 20,000 points. Sometimes the balloons will also drop care packages (hey, it's just a game, it doesn't have to make sense) which you can catch by letting them hit your cannon. Catching a care package will increase your armor points or give you special ammunition. The special kinds of ammunition you can get are Dum-dum, Armor-piercing, and Incendiary. The game instructions, which are accessible via the arrow keys after you launch the application, tell you what each kind of ammo does. You only get a certain number of shots each time you get special ammunition, so use it sparingly. Don't worry about regular ammo, tho: you never run out of that, so blast away to your heart's desire.
