Star Wars: Episode I Racer 1.0.1
Lucas Arts has released the long awaited patch for Star Wars Racer. It includes, among other fixes, support for Voodoo 2 and 3 cards.
Installation: To install the Star Wars: Episode I Racer v.1.01 patch, copy the application "Star Wars Episode I Racer" into the installed folder on your hard drive. Copy the file "Switches.txt" into the Data folder within your installed folder. (Allow the Finder to replace files with the same name.)
Now allows for 3D accelerator cards using 3Dfx Voodoo2/Voodoo3 chipsets to run without 32-bit Z buffering enabled (see 16-bit buffer Setting in updated Switches.txt file)
Issue with assigning a function to the mouse button when using mouse controls fixed
Added ability to manually calibrate joysticks via Switches.txt file
Troubleshooting information added to Read Me regarding lockups and virtual memory, QuickTime 4.1, and controllers.
