Lumox 2 1.1
Inspired by the hit PSP game Lumines, Lumox 2 delivers the entrancing experience you crave. Your goal is to form 2x2 groups of blocks of the same color. When you do this, they will become highlighted. The beam of electricity zaps highlighted blocks as it passes. Destroy lots of blocks at the same time to get a huge score. Use special exploder blocks to start even larger combos. Sure, you can get a Furious combo, but can you get an Omega combo? For those who have already mastered Lumines, we provide the challenging 3 color mode.
Lumox 2 packs over 30 minutes of groovin' tracks. Gameplay and graphics are flawlessly synchornized with the music. For example, blocks fall on musical beats. Lumox 2 always looks fresh, because it creates thousands of different visual styles. Everything in the game moves as smoothly as silk. When you destroy blocks, they disappear in a puff of smoke, warping the space behind them.

A nice arcade puzzler. I remember testing the first incarnation of Lumox, which I found a bit dull. LPS certainly has made some very good improvements in this semi-sequel. I love the changing color schemes as one progresses from one level to the next. The music is more of an aquired taste. All in all, a good product. |

SMNMX (4/16/2006 - version 1.02) |
Very fun puzzler. The developers have fixed the extreme sensitivy issues from Lumox 1 and added some good music and themes. Nice graphics, but the the darker themes (ex.: blue and green) are harder to play and less enjoyable than the brighter ones (red and black). It would also be nice to change the pace with faster music and a faster block clearing line when you're close to losing, to reflect the more intense gameplay. Very addictive, though, and a fun game. |

Pretty faithful reproduction except for the lack of music. Tune in to di.fm trance and play a bit of Lumox for almost the full experience. That the original game is pretty boring compared to Meteos is not the mac developer's fault. |
