| I own a copy of the book that I bought last year. If you want to program a Mac Game and use OpenGL, this is the best place to start. It is written by a developer with 20 years experience and numerous games under his belt. He walks you through pretty much the entire process of building a game engine, including sound, keyboard control, and 3D model loading, all in the C programming language.
The only downside to the book is that it is 4 years old, and OS X keeps marching on. That said - it's still the best book on programming Mac games out there, and it's great that the author has made it available for free. |
