rRootage 0.23.2
rRootage is an OpenGL based vertical shooter. You move your ship around shooting up at the enemy in a "level boss" format. The boss shoots different shaped objects at you, and you must dodge them while shooting him (or her). Watch out, because your shields are limited!

It's pure twitchy shooter action, at its best. Others may complain about how the game's repetitive, but they're missing the point: rRootage isolates the classic shooter boss fight and brings it to another level, focusing the entire game on dodging intricate bullet patterns. The extra modes (including an Ikaruga-style variation) add depth and replayability.

the game doesn't look bad, and even has decent music, but the gameplay is repetitive, there are not different enemies, just more and more debris as you advance in the stage. Also, I haven't the slightest idea as to what any of the numbers on the display mean.

Basically, if you've ever played scrolling shooters before then you'll know what I mean when I say this "game" is nothing more than one long boss fight. Over, and over, and over. Gets really repetitive quickly and there's not much to it to begin with. However, it does look very nice and is well programmed!
