The Sims 2 Combo Patch

This is an official update for The Sims 2. It will fully update all expansion packs to their latest version as of December 2007.

What's New in This Update

The Sims 2 Pets Rev B
- Fixes an install issue with later expansions and or object packs in the Sims 2 series
- Body Shop and Package Installer are now universal Binaries
- Fixes several animations: aquarium fish, neighborhood effects such as pigeons, geese, seagulls, red biplane

The Sims 2 Seasons Rev A
- Custom objects will now be preserved when uploading Lots to the Exchange
- Z-fighting in snow on rooftops in neighborhood view
- Z-fighting on round pool corners and holes/dirt piles dug by dogs

	I have the same problem with the icon bouncing and nothing happening and I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. I read something about installing new icons but I don't understand where I do that. Then I read about QuickTime being the problem and now I am really confused! Please help me!!

	I have exactly the same problem that barbarat I don't get it. I've downloaded both the patch AND the new icon as instructed. But when I try to launch the game with the new icon, I get a message saying a different (newer version of Sims 2) was expected (I think 6-07) and that mine is 3-07. It tells me to reinstall Sims 2. I have reinstalled -- a few times now -- and it's still not working. Boo-hoo. :( I have done complete manual uninstalls and reinstalls of everything a few times now and have finally reached wit's end. please help me christel
