Space Guards 1.1

You just left the space academy to join the Space Guards, an union to protect international research and exploration of the cosmos. Because you are newbie you start with a simple mission while you are dreaming of getting a job in Skycity, an orbital research institute. But before that you just have to take care of the small research spacestation X5. An easy job you believe, just pushing some asteroids but suddenly unknown forces starts to attack.

With successful finishing you get the job at Skycity which also is under attack. Little more is known about the 'Enemy' but you will try your best to protect the staff and equipment, because than you will proceed to the third mission, the final battle on mars!

You control the weapons with both hands, one on the cursorkeys to rotate the base and the other on the mouse to do finepositioning.

Demoversion contains the second mission only.

Simple and short - wouldn't open in 10.2

Graphically, it appeals to me and overall it's just plain fun. Looking forward to more missions.

First off I give it 4 stars because we need more 3D game developers and I applaud the effort. The gameplay is simple, you man a turret and destory incoming enemy fighters. Graphics are rather simple, some small particle effects, everything is one solid color (no textures I believe). There are some spelling errors and such that give the game a "beta/early dev" feel. All in all though it beats the hundreds of mindless 2D puzzle/pong games being released.

Graphics are adequate, though the ship destruction animation could be better than a simple "poof" with minimal wreckage. The position of the gun turrent isn't exactly optimal for the job, but I guess that's part of the challenge. With only 3 missions, it seems like a concept/work in progress. Not a bad start. Keep up the good work!
