Oolite is a space sim game, written for Mac OS X in Objective C using Cocoa and OpenGL.
It was written as my response to the withdrawal of Elite - The New Kind from the internet. Although inspired by the work of Christian Pinder, following David Braben and Ian Bell, the work is an independent interpretation and expansion of the original game.
Oolite is designed as a small game that is easy for users to pick up and expand upon. Almost every aspect of the game can be modified using simple, free graphics packages and text-editors.
Version 1.75.3:
* Subentities are now set up correctly when buying a new ship.
* Ships now take subentities into account when deciding whether they can dock.
* Fixed ghost wormholes. Wormholes can no longer have a jump range of zero.
* The fuel indicator is now drawn correctly in interstellar space.
I had the original Elite for the Acorn, and this may be the first thing that beats it in every department. Truly the best freeform space game I, at least until someone does a bug-free remake of Frontier.

Extremely buggy. I can't play it for longer than ten minutes without it crashing. Very frustrating.
