Fun, but $19.95 for this old thing????
The price is outrageous for such an old artifact. $5-10 maybe. |

Brickles is a good game... the Mac gaming standard for many. The graphics are comically dated, the sounds are basic and cheezy, the control scheme is straight out of 1984. And that's what I love. Brickles has no false pretenses, the developer didn't try to reinvent the wheel. Cool touches like web scoring make it even more fun.
Considering this looks to be close to the same game which I first played in 1-bit on a Plus and Sys 6.08, and a duplicate of the version I used to play on my Power Mac 7100 and Sys 7.5, it seems pretty timeless to me. |

I loved this game when I had a Mac SE, and no other games. It was consigned to the trash as soon as I got Lemmings and Shufflepuck.
And that's the problem. This game is entertaining if you have a black & white computer and no other games. If you don't fulfill the criteria then it's just trash filler.
I'll give it two sticks just because it entertained me once. It's therefore slightly better than El Ballo, which didn't entertain me at all. It certainly isn't worth $25, and even 'free' is a bit steep. |

Oh my God. This lasted all of 5 seconds on my PowerBook. This game looks 20 years old only in colour. |
