PicTiles is a new take on the Tetris genre. If you're tired of building endless walls, why not try something a bit more adventurous?
In PicTiles the goal is to use everyones favourite falling blocks to fill in pictures. The more of the picture you fill in - the higher your score.
But watch out, if you run out of blocks before you've filled in enough of the picture then it's game over!

I hate to rag on this game. Except for the insane startup time (what's up with that?) its programming is immaculate. It's dedicated to its concept, it has a professional look, and it seems well tested and thought out. The only problem is that it's simply not fun to play. It may be possible that the same concept could work with better level design or the ability to somehow get rid of bad pieces. As it is, it's just a yawnfest.
I should also mention that the game requires a ridiculously high percentage to finish a level which means that small mistakes can be deadly. Don't expect to finish the first level unless you're fairly good at tetris. Other minor gripes include that the blocks rotate the wrong way and that the fastest speed ("insane") is still very slow, but none of these is really an important issue.
