You start of in dropship on the edge of an ice cliff (immediate danger), you have to first maneuver through the air vents to get into the main base, once thereyou are greeted with a covered road and a couple of parked tanks, and the unrel engine once again displays it's wow ability! The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. The map comes with a new texture pack which gives the base a very uniform military look yet still looks very sci-fi. Once in the base you have to infiltrate the first control room and shut down the cool looking laser fence, there are two routes, either along the road or through the tight infrastructure, either way, the defenders have the advantage all the way. Once throught the fence you are thrown into a courtyard which is very foggy, the use of zones at this point is very well executed and the in to out transition is excellent. The courtyard is stunning, there is a perimeter wall, the continuation of the road, two outpost control rooms which open the main hangar, and a large static walker with a very active defence turret. Getting past this point iss the hardest part of the map, but worth it because the hanger is just gorgeous, it must have taken a very long time to build it and then optimise it to run so fast. Through the hangar you have to gain access to the crew quarters, blitz them and then it's back outside through a stunning ice canyon which looks fractally generated, and your on the final run to the field generator.
