Meteor Storm 1.6b2
Meteor Storm is a fast-paced arcade shoot-'em-up somewhat similar to arcade classics such as Galaxia and Tempest.
The object is to fly through levels, shoot enemy spacecraft, avoid asteroids, and slip past an optional second player to catch power-ups. The game is complemented by smooth graphics and effects, stereo sounds, and configurable controls.

| Totally agree with Graphite Addict. The music is good but with only one enemy and one weapon power up and no change in arena, it wouldn't take long to become dull. |

| Looks ok, nothing new here, just another take on old-school arcade gaming. In the demo at least, there is only 1 kind of enemy (besides the bosses), which would become boring after a while. In addition, this does not run natively in Mac OS X and the graphics seem a little messed up (too few colors?) in Classic...but if you like this kind of thing, check it out. |
