Toggle GTP (6/7/2004 - version 1.0) |
| I knew it would run on my G4 500 Gigabit tower (400 original), OS 10.2.8, 512 ram, 64mb Nvidia Geforce 4mx card. Lowest FPS is 30. Most of the game it plays 40-60fps. Only drawbacks; They should have kept to one person limit stacking ability like what you can do in Return to Wolfenstein. Sometimes I would like to climb in higher building in the game. What happened to grenade fuse delay of 5 seconds? That is realistic, in CoD you can throw it a mile away, and people can dodge ur grenades because you can't control the fuse/explosion delay. Those two things are my quirks about the game. Otherwise, great gameplay and you can actually aim with all guns.
AKA Toggle GTP (Gameranger)
P.S. If you have a g4 450+ make sure you get a 64 mb card. Ati has the 128mb 9000 pro for about $125-140. |

| At first I couldn't get decent frame rates to play this on my lowly 700 MHz eMac even after setting the graphics options at their least taxing. I mistakingly hit the icon the other night and once I realized I had opened the wrong app, thought I would give it another whirl. Amazingly, it worked and worked well. Maybe I fixed permissions or something.
Incredibley fun and intense. I can't believe they outdid Medal of Honor. Still not sure if I want to buy now or wait until I get a new Mac. |

| Oh man—awesome game. Very hectic and chaotic. Cool effects—like when you're too close to a morter, the screen sort of washes a bit, everything goes really slow, there's sort of a repeating motion thing, and all the sounds are real quiet. Then once you go out of it, everything comes back, with an eerie sound. It's cool; belive me ;)
You can here people shouting in german... very realistic gun sounds... mélee atacks. Yah, I'd say it's pretty good. |

| To those running the game on a G5 and having problems I have to say "What the #@!$". I'm running the game on a 1ghz 17" Powerbook and it plays great. I'm using 1024X768 resolution with the shell casings and wall marks turned off. I've purchased the full game and so far haven't experienced any hiccups or slowdowns even with all he** breaking loose around me.
Bottom line: GET THIS GAME (or at least try the demo). |

| Very good game, though still not much of a simulation, but you actionly have teamates with you instead of crappy MOH:AA, you get a decent game I think.
Anyway runs good on my imac 800mhz 768 RAM with a Geforce 2. I recommend this game to anyone. |
