Good god the new Eagle and 2xSAI graphic modes are beautiful. SNES games new look BETTER than the actual console. Only problem? You're gonna need a fast computer to use them. To hell with people with non-G3s.... |

While I sincerely appreciate Mr. Stiles' efforts in porting this to the Macintosh (and would pay for it in an instant), the frequency of updates to his site (emulation.net) and to SNES9x are deplorable. Months between updates of the site, and weeks for a minor (but needed) bugfix. In addition, while the whole point of Carbon is to allow developers to release a single binary, we have two SNES programs. One for Classic, one for X. The MacOS X one is also unable to switch screen resolutions, even though there are already many packages that do so (Quake III and Classic itself among them). |
