Sweet!! So fun! Cool graphics, weapons, enemies, deforming terrain is totally awesome.

This is good stuff! Great game for the Mac, unique game play. Deformable terrain, woohoo. Haven't seen that on the Mac in ages. Can't wait til my kid stops being lazy and takes this game for a ride, I figure I'll have to whip out the credit card then.

Mac Games Rating Carbon (1/12/2009 - version 1.0)
This game has been a lot of fun to play, there are a lot of surprises that will make you jump back. The graphics do not have immense detail, but the visual effects and smooth gameplay more than make up for it. Destroying the bugs just feels nice. I definitely recommend giving this a try,

Cool little game, I wouldn't doubt if these guys ended up becoming on their own or a part of a major studio some days. It's a little simplistic, but there are a lot of good ideas here. It just isn't terribly interesting. I'd give 3/5, but the creator had to go and do that...

Mac Games Rating Mike Smith (1/12/2009 - version 1.0)
Of course I'm going to give this game 5 out of 5. I made it! But if you don't believe me, here's someone else that things it deserves this score: http://www.macupdate.com/reviews.php?id=30158 Now on to my very biased and glowing review of my own game... For what it is trying to do, Caster hits the mark right on. The goal of this game is to provide the player with a feeling of speed, action, and power. This game does exactly that. While playing this game I love being able to run around at high speed, deforming the terrain with my massive attacks, collecting all the energy balls, and jumping so high that when I land a shock wave ripples through the ground! Lots of explosions, lots of action. The graphics are second to none and I'm surprised at how low the min spec requirements are! It runs full featured at a good frame rate on a mac mini or a PC with a GeForce II! There are glow effects, particle systems, fancy shadows, depth of field, motion blur, full screen AA, etc. Each level is pretty short so it makes it good for pick up and play. With only 15 levels in the first chapter, the number of levels seems a bit too few, but the promise of more FREE chapters on the way more than makes up for it. One the best features of the game is the different difficulty levels that let the player decide now they want to play the game. Causal, Normal, and EXTREME. For players of 3rd Person action games, Causal will a breeze, but they will still find lots of challenge with the Extreme level. However, if you have never played a 3rd person game before, you will still be able to beat this game with it's Lego Star Wars like continue option. There's a story going on, but not much is presented at yet. I guess we'll have to wait for the further chapters to learn more. As far as replay goes, there is the drive to collect all the pickups that are hidden in each level. And then for the perfectionists, there is the 2000 point no damage bonus. So in the end, I love this game. It's simple sweet and to the point. I can get in, get my fix, and put it aside for the next time I feel the need for an intense power trip. My recommendation... of course BUY! Thanks!
