| I've been playing cube 2 since before the pretty water was introduced, when the only player model was the ogro.
It has always been and remains one of the most fun and addictive fps's I've ever played. Simple, competitive, and responsive. :) |

| An amazing, well-designed game engine with excellent graphics and amazing level design. the multiplayer in my view is fantastic for anyone who likes open-source FPS games. With yearly updates, and amazing community support, this is the best free game i have ever played. the 2009 version is just too great, with new hudguns, and the snout X10000. This game version also features a ragdoll physics engine! With the shaders on, it has great graphics, and the water is almost real. download and try it now!!! |

| Nothing special at all.
Only fun thing is coop editing mode. It's more of a tech demo than a polished game. Nexuiz has comparable graphics (yeah, shaders, HDR, all that fancy stuff) and its gameplay is BY FAR BETTER then here. Balanced weapons, map layout, graphics. It's a more "complete" experience in comparison to Sauerbraten.
Try it. |

| This game is great.
The single player can be a little boring, but the online is just too fun. From a deadly capture the flag game to a coop edit game where everyone edits the level with the great cube-editing engine.
This game lets you just press E, and edit maps with a very easy, yet powerful engine, while still in the game!
The graphics are great, state-of-the-art shaders, bloom lighting, ect. The only thing this is missing is...well... Nothing! It even has HDR lighting.
The guns are currently still "Ogro" style, which reflects guns you might find in WWII or the civil war.
Except the rocket launcher, which is just...weird. |

| A positive: multiplier works great with dial-up. Some negatives: menus do not work well, scroll wheel required to edit. If someone knows a substitute for the mosue wheel, can you tell me? |
