X Ball 2.6

X Ball is a next generation brick-out style game. Anyone who has ever enjoyed playing brick-out will love this game. You begin the game with 1000 dollars in funding which slowly ticks down as you play the game. When your funding runs out the game is over, so the faster you beat the levels and the more funding you collect the better. Powerups can be bought with your funding and stored for later use, make timing and powerup combinations a key aspect of game play. There are many other original features, including a powerup to place explosions, a powerup to make you palette ?magnetically? attract balls, exploding bricks, falling bricks, and an army of enemies to get in your way.

X Ball is $20 shareware. 25% of all profits go to the American Cancer Society. If you enjoy playing the game, please register and help to cure this devastating disease. The demo version is limited to two hours of game play. When you register, you will receive a license code that enables you to play unlimited games, allows you to play on levels created by other people, and unlocks the world editor so you can create levels of your own. X Ball has 20 levels with over 15 different types of bricks, an assortment of enemies and a plethora of different capsules. The full version will keep you entertained for days.

Its boring gameplay and cheap shots make me mad. I liked the idea of the map editor but it wouldn't let me do it cause i had to register. The buying of power ups was kinda fun, but limited and the levels were't special, and each of them would go into this stupid frenzy and Then some stupid thing would happen like going in and out of the same portal forever. Stupid.

Mac Games Rating A VERY DISSAPOINTED LAD (1/27/2004 - version 2.5.1)
I enjoyed the arcade game Arcanoid, & I was exstatic to discover your program that enabled me to create my own worlds with my own backgrounds... It worked on my old Mac, & my newer Mac that has OS 9 & X installed. ... ... I'm an unknown musician, & like your lil bro, Id like to get people to hear my stuff. When I saw the latest version, I was REALLY HAPPY to know that we could incorporate our own music! ... But... Wo... It cannot open any worlds that we have worked really hard to create? Well then, if that cannot be done, or a converter cannot be made, at least make it work for OS 8 & 9 please! ... Think of all the people that still have their old Power PCs, iMacs,1st gen. Powerbooks, etc... There are MILLIONS! ... If you have no desire to care for these people, I highly suggest working on a way to get the '2000+' levels to function under the latest & future versions for the benefit of all mankind ;-) Thanks.
