F/A 18 Korea Gold
F/A-18 Korea Gold combines all realism and excitement of F/A-18 Hornet 3.0's award-winning simulation technology with a new Korean theater, advanced new features such as 3dfx and Open GL hardware acceleration, and a intuitive mission creator/editor.
The full "F/A-18 Korea Gold Edition" package includes the "F/A-18 Korea GL" version 1.1; the full "F/A-18 Hornet 3", version 3.1; a variety of user-supplied mission files created with the built-in Korea mission editor; an assortment of 3rd party support files, including replacement textures, and altered database files.
New features for Gold version include:
• Texture mapped graphics using ATI Rage (and other OpenGL) graphics accelerators.
• Support for 3dfx Voodoo 3 graphics acceleration, including 1024x768.
• Native Internet multiplayer mode using Apple's Net Sprocket.
• Support for the "GameRanger" internet lobby service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: F/A-18 Korea requires Mac OS 9.0.4 or newer to use OpenGL graphics. If you have Mac OS 9 and an internet connection, use the control panel called "Software Update" to get the newest OS revision. Required updates, including the latest OpenGL and Game Sprockets (Input Sprocket and Net Sprocket), can be automatically downloaded and installed. GameRanger installation is recommended if you plan on playing over the Internet.
